Guillermo Del Toro’s Netflix Anthology Series New Title, Cast, Directors Revealed

Netflix has shared new details regarding Guillermo Del Toro’s upcoming horror anthology show. Previously known as 10 After Midnight, the show’s new title is Cabinet of Curiosities.

According to Netflix, Cabinet of Curiosities series “promises a macabre mashup of genre-defining horror.” Del Toro has created two original stories for the series and he will serve as the creator, executive producer, and co-showrunner for Cabinet of Curiosities. Netflix has offered a breakdown of stars, writers, and directors on each episode:

• Essie Davis and Hannah Galway will star in an episode based on original story by Del Toro, which will be directed by Jennifer Kent.
• F. Murray Abraham, Luke Roberts, and Glynn Turman will star in an episode directed by David Prior and written by David S. Goyer, which is based on a short story by Michael Shea.
• Tim Blake Nelson, Elpidia Carrillo, Demetrius Grosse, and Sebastian Roché will star in an episode based on an original story by Del Toro, written by Regina Corrado and directed by Guillermo Navarro.
• Crispin Glover and Ben Barnes star in an episode based on a short story by H.P. Lovecraft, which is written by Lee Patterson and directed by Keith Thomas.
• Peter Weller stars in an episode directed by Panos Cosmatos, who co-writes alongside Aaron Stewart-Ahn.
• Mika Watkins writes an episode based on a short story by H.P. Lovecraft that is directed by Catherine Hardwicke. The cast for this episode will be announced soon.
• David Hewlett cast in an episode written and directed by Vincenzo Natali, which is based on a short story by Henry Kuttner.
• Haley Z. Boston writes an episode based on a short story by Emily Carroll that will be directed by Ana Lily Amirpour. The cast isn’t announced yet.

As reported by Deadline, production for Cabinet of Curiosities has already started in Toronto.
