GTA 6 reveal TOMORROW? Hopes raised of imminent Grand Theft Auto news
The long-awaited reveal of GTA 6 could be happening sometime this week. According to YouTuber LegacyKillaHD, there is a chance we might get an official reveal for the next Grand Theft Auto game within the next few days. As the YouTuber explained in a series of tweets, there are signs pointing towards a GTA 6 reveal dropping in the next 48 hours.
In a post on Twitter LegacyKillaHD wrote: “We might just be around 48 hours away from the first official reveal for Grand Theft Auto 6.
“Big emphasis on the word “might” but there are a number of indications that something could be happening, as I explored in a video a few days ago”.
Among the signs of GTA 6 being revealed imminently is Rockstar previously saying more news on the game was coming “soon”, and how GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2 were previously announced in the month of October.
The YouTuber tweeted: “Reasons why a #GTA6 reveal could be nearly upon us.
“Rockstar Feb. & Sept 2022 posts promising news soon.
“Take Two Investor call a few weeks away, reveals of #RDR2 & #GTA5 happened right before calls.
“Mysterious GTA Online Stealth event scheduled for GTA 25-year anniversary.”
One of the biggest signs that we could get a GTA 6 reveal imminently is the upcoming investors call for Rockstar Games’ parent company Take Two.
A quarterly investors call is scheduled for November 7, and previously big name Rockstar Games titles have been announced in the run-up to these calls.
And, following on from the recent leak of GTA 6 development assets, having a full reveal of GTA 6 before the upcoming investors call would be a welcome set of good news for shareholders.
It has been claimed that the GTA 6 reveal could happen on Friday, October 21 as part of the 25th anniversary celebrations for the Grand Theft Auto series.
And there’s another reason this particular date is of interest. There’s a mysterious UFO event happening in GTA Online, which originally was scheduled for later this month but recently has been moved to this Friday.
This is of interest as a previous UFO event was linked to an Easter Egg that fans believe shows an early image of GTA 6.
On the GTA Forums well-known insider Tez2 speculated on how the upcoming UFO event could be related to GTA 6.
The leaker posted: “If Rockstar had any GTA6 material within GTAO files, we would have found it already.
“They act extra cautious within major announcements when they were already cautious enough to not cause any leaks from their side.
“What Rockstar can do is automate a GTA Online background to go live an hour or half an hour before the actual announcement article.
“Where Omega sends you a text message about the strange appearance of a different kind of UFO and drops a Vice City reference.
“By the time dataminers rush out to find out what’s going on and the hype circle starts within the fans the actual announcement would’ve went live.
“This is all a hypothetical ‘what if’ situation, of course.”
As always with rumours, it’s best to take claims with a pinch of salt until official confirmation.
If this week comes and goes without any news on GTA 6 then there is another date that fans should mark down in their diaries.
October 29 is the 20th anniversary of Vice City, so Rockstar alternatively could have an announcement on the next GTA game – which is widely tipped to be set in that location – planned for around that date instead.
