GTA 6 Is In Active Development Rockstar Confirms

The moment millions of fans all across the world have been waiting for is finally here as Rockstar Games has finally confirmed that GTA 6 is indeed in development.

The Grand Theft Auto franchise has been one of the most successful ones in video game history, with the first game released back in 1997. Over the years, we have witnessed it evolving significantly, and the fanbase has grown exponentially at the same time as well.

When it comes to GTA 6, it’s been absolutely a crazy rumor mill so far. We have been hearing so much for years, and rumors about an announcement start making rounds after every big gaming event. In fact, many believed that Rockstar would reveal it during the PlayStation 5 reveal. However, we instead got yet another version of GTA 5. Now before GTA 5 could become the next Skyrim of the video game industry, Rockstar has finally made the announcement everyone was waiting for.

One would imagine that an announcement like this would come on a dedicated event, or during an event like E3 or Gamescom. But Rockstar went off the beaten path and chose quite an unusual way to make an announcement which is arguably one of the biggest in the game’s industry.

In a tweet on their official Twitter account, Rockstar Games confirmed that they are working on the next installment in the much loved GTA franchise. Rockstar states that many fans have been asking for the next game and their goals become even more ambitious with every iteration.

So far, this is all fans would be seeing though. It states that more details will available on Rockstar Newswire. The developers extend their thanks to all fans, and it seems like we should be hearing more about this pretty soon.
