Governor Abdul Nazeer inaugurates Robotic Assistant Surgery at Manipal – Times of India
Manipal chairman Dr. Sudarshan Ballal said that it was part of their endeavor to integrate the technology into healthcare services across their hospitals in India. “We reaffirm our commitment to providing the best care to our patients,” said Ballal. He said that the Robotic-Assisted Surgery (RAS) is a significant advancement in minimally invasive surgical techniques, empowering surgeons with enhanced motion control and superior visual magnification to tackle complex cases. It aims to overcome the limitations of traditional surgical procedures and enhance the capabilities of surgeons performing intricate surgeries. Embracing a multidisciplinary approach, our Robotic-assisted surgeries offerings encompass various specialties such as Surgical Oncology, Surgical Gastrointestinal, Bariatric, Urology, Thoracic, General Surgery, Gynecology. Robotic experts Dr. Surendra Jasti, Dr V Dharmendra Kumar, Dr Ravi Sankar Ganji and Dr Lakshmi Prasuna were also present.
