GoodLuck Jerry

To those unaware, GoodLuck Jerry is the Hindi remake of the Tamil film Kolamaavu Kokila. The film revolves around a rather innocent girl, who in the face of adversity gets pulled into illegal cocaine smuggling. Janhvi Kapoor plays the lead in the film, she manages to capture the audience right from the first frame of the film where she is seen seeking a job as she needs money for her mother’s treatment who is unwell. The trailer has a good blend of thrills as well as humour as Janhvi makes it look all authentic, a girl who would do anything to help her ailing mother recover. The twists that she faces on the way to achieving it, are what makes it qualify as an exciting watch. Unable to find a suitable job she gets drawn to the nasty world of drugs as she is seen navigating and going with the flow.

The film also features Deepak Dobriyal, Neeraj Sood, Mita Vashisht, and Sushant Singh and is slated to release on July 29th, 2022 on OTT.
