Good Morning Britain viewers were no doubt feeling queasy on Monday after tech issues caused the picture on the screen to repeatedly flicker.

Susanna Reid and Richard Madeley kicked off the programme with discussions about the Qatar World Cup, with Madeley expressing his confusion over why broadcasters refused to air the opening ceremony.

However, fans began noticing problems with the camera shortly after 7am, with many baffled by what was going on.

‘There is a problem with the picture coming from ITV at the moment,’ one reported. ‘It’s flickering badly.’

‘What’s going on with the flickering on the screen this morning? Doesn’t happen during the adverts,’ another said.

A third added: ‘Don’t think @itv or @gmb it is watchable today due the flickering malfunction.. not my TV I’ve checked.’

ITV has yet to address the issue, however, it appears the problem has continued into Lorraine.

Newly eliminated I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! campmate Scarlette Douglas was a guest on Monday’s Good Morning Britain and was grilled on whether she liked fellow star Matt Hancock.

‘In the jungle, we will get on but it doesn’t mean that on the outside we’ll be best mates at all but in here we’ll just work together as a team and that’s all we can do,’ she said.

‘I like his get up and go, I like the fact that he has drive, I like that he is determined. I like that he won’t give up anything and those attributes I like in general.’

Scarlette continued: ‘So do I like Matt Hancock specifically… I don’t think I had enough time to really get to know him because when he came in, he was trying to win us all over. He was doing his best to make sure he was involved in everything but for me, it was just that I want to make sure as a camp we all get on.’

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV.
