Gluten-free brewery near Denver adds gluten-free restaurant
Colorado’s best gluten-free brewery is soon adding a restaurant that also caters to those with celiac disease and gluten sensitivities.
Golden-based Holidaily Brewing Co. recently announced a partnership with Just BE Kitchen, which plans to open its second location at the brewery’s newest outpost in Greenwood Village (5370 Greenwood Plaza Boulevard, Suite 107).
The brewery, which won a silver medal at the recent Great American Beer Festival, opened a satellite taproom at the Denver Tech Center last August and the new restaurant is expected to open Nov. 1.
In a joint statement, Holidaily founder Karen Hertz and Just BE Kitchen owner Jennifer Peters touted the collaboration as the first of its kind in the country.
“Our mission has always been about getting great-tasting, gluten-free beer to as many people as possible,” Hertz said. “Just BE Kitchen is a great partner for us because they’re another woman-owned company living out a similar mission but in the food scene.”
Opened in 2017, Just BE Kitchen specializes in healthful food that adheres to a variety of dietary restrictions, from gluten and soy allergies to Whole 30 and paleo diets. The first location landed in Denver’s Highland neighborhood and the expansion to Greenwood Village marks its second restaurant.
In 2020, Guy Fieri featured the restaurant on “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” on an episode spotlighting down-home cooking.
“Our hope is that bringing our mindful mouthfuls to other areas across Denver will positively impact those that seek nourishment as a way to improve their overall well-being,” Peters said.
