This is what dreams are made of.

A temporary ‘job’ is being offered by Scottish gin brand, King’s Hill, which only requires you try lots of gin and explore Edinburgh.

Oh, and you get paid too.

Gin lovers line up, as this opportunity is likely to attract a lot of people looking for a boozy Scottish escape.

Called a summer ‘Gin-ternship’, the selected applicant will visit the Pentland Hills and try different gins, with a focus on botanical flavours.

Paying £500, free accommodation is also included as part of the deal.

Residing in Dalhousie Castle, a luxury castle hotel, you’ll have plenty of opportunity to see the sights in Edinburgh as its just eight miles away.

At the castle, there will be daily gin sampling and a tour of the distillery.

Hannah Fletcher, brand manager for Tŷ Nant Water, which owns King’s Hill, said: ‘As summer draws closer, there’s nothing quite like sipping gin in the sun – it’s a special experience, and we wanted to take this to the next level for one lucky gin lover.

‘Our distillery is nestled in a breath-taking location right on the outskirts of Edinburgh, so we also wanted to make sure our next Gin-tern would get the full King’s Hill experience.

‘After all, there is no better place to enjoy our award-winning gin than here, right at the heart of the Scottish Pentland Hills.

‘We’d like to invite anyone with a distinguished palate and a love for all things gin to apply and become our first-ever Gin-tern.’

Apply by July 18 for your chance to seize this rare paid opportunity.
