Genshin Impact is one of the most popular anime-style, open world, RPG titles out there. We recently learned that the developers were trying to make limited-time events replayable and also learned why Genshin’s Dendro Element took so long to arrive to the game. Now, a new leak for the game has arrived that provides us an insight into the entire map of Tevyat and more about all the 7 regions that exist in this world.

Tevyat is basically the main map where the events of Genshin Impact’s story takes place. At moment only four regions of the continent have been introduced, the most recent one being Sumeru. The newly leaked map was seen during the first Closed Beta test of the game, but it did on consist of any notes or information. Popular Genshin Impact informer, Lumie, has provided the players with much needed information about this map.

In the post the user has stated that this an old map with developer notes, the image that you will see below consists if old maps that have been overlayed by Lumie on top of each other. With the help of game objects that have been used by the developers, Lumie was able to map out the general locations in the game. The map that we see here was created all the way back in January 2021, before the region of Inazuma was launched. Interested players can check out the entire map with the translated notes here.

Some prominent changes that were pointed out by Lumie included the positioning of Dragonspine, which was placed in same general area as Sumeru. Also a lot of points of interest from Inazuma from the original map, didn’t make it to the existing game. The original developer notes were in a different language and were translated by another popular Genshin Impact informer called, Genshin Intel.

Lastly, the players should know that the developer notes that can be observed on the map date all the way back to 2019.
