‘Genius’ Aussie young gun’s epic Ashes catch

The opening Test of the Ashes is evenly poised at stumps on day three, after the Australians made two crucial breakthroughs with the ball in extremely difficult batting conditions at Edgbaston.

As gloomy clouds gathered and rain blew in, Pat Cummins and Scott Boland dismissed England’s openers in an enthralling passage of cricket.

England is 2-28 and leading by 35 runs, with Ollie Pope and Joe Root both yet to get off the mark.
