Geek star’s jaw-dropping makeover revealed

The cast of Beauty and the Geek promptly lost their minds over the first makeover of the season on Wednesday night, with contestant Mike emerging from his style session looking like a bona fide movie star.

The 20-year-old Batman enthusiast, who has been paired with 20-year-old waitress Heidi, has been the first Geek to enter the series’ iconic makeover den. And the result caused jaws to drop around the room.

“I was in absolute shock, I did not see that coming. He didn’t just look good he actually looked unreal, like perfect,” Heidi gushed when she first set eyes on her match.

Her face said it all.

It’s easy to see why Heidi was so stunned by the reveal.

Here’s Mike before:

And after:

As the Beauties fawned over Mike’s sleek new look, he appeared to lap up the attention, jokingly posing in the mirror and flashing a wide smile.

He later told producers: “I’ve never actually been called hot before. But I’m feeling it now.”

During the makeover, Mike — who had entered the reality competition with a bushy beard and a collection of novelty T-shirt — had revealed he was sensitive about his height after being rejected by a former crush for not being tall enough.

He admitted he had been hiding behind his beard, because it made him feel “comfortable” but no confident.

“I think I’m ready to leave not confident Mike behind. Mike after the makeover … Bruce Wayne,” he said.

Clearly his new self-assurance was felt by Heidi, who remarked: “It was like someone has just switched a light on inside of him. He just shone.”
