GATE Cutoff 2023: Check branch-wise qualifying cutoffs here – Times of India

GATE 2023 Result: The Indian Institute of Technology, IIT Kanpur has announced the GATE Result today, on March 16, 2023. Candidates who took the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering, GATE 2023 exam can check and download their result from the official website at gate.iitk.ac.in.
Candidates can download the GATE Result by simply logging in their ‘Application Number’ and ‘Password’ on the official website. The GATE Scorecard will be published on the portal on March 21, 2023.
IIT Kanpur conducted the GATE 2023 exam on February 4, 5, 11 and 12, 2023. The provisional answer key was released on Feb 21, 2023. The candidates who were not satisfied with the answer key were given the option to raise objections on the official website from February 22 to 25, 2023. The GATE result and final answer key have been released after examining the challenges received from the candidates during the objection window.

GATE Cutoff 2023
After the announcement of the GATE Result 2023, candidates must be wondering about the qualifying cutoff. The qualifying cutoff is the minimum mark that candidates need to score to be eligible for admission to MTech, MSc, and PhD courses. It is decided on the basis of the total number of seats available, number of candidates who took the exam and the marks secured by the candidates etc.
IIT Kanpur is expected to release the GATE Qualifying cutoff anytime soon. Candidates are advised to keep a check on the official website at gate.iitk.ac.in. Meanwhile, the students can refer to the GATE Qualifying Cutoff of 2022 to get an idea about the expected cutoff.

Next Step
Candidates qualifying the GATE CBT Examination 2023 will be eligible for admission into NITs, IITs, IIITs and CFTIs according to their scores. The candidates will have to undergo the Counselling rounds. In total, there will be 4 counselling rounds, the last 2 rounds would be Mop-up and Stray rounds.
