GATE 2022 Result announced at gate.iitkgp.ac.in, check cut-off marks here – Times of India

The candidates, who appeared for the examination, can check their result on the official IIT KGP GATE 2022 website at gate.iitkgp.ac.in. The result declared today is for the exam which was held on February 5, 6, 12, and 13, 2022

Candidates can access their GATE 2022 result through candidate login using their – Enrollment ID/ Email Address and Password
The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is conducted for granting admissions to postgraduate programmes (Master’s and Doctoral) with Ministry of Education (MoE) and other Government Scholarships/ Assistantships in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture/ Science/ Commerce/ Arts.

Qualifying in GATE is a mandatory requirement for seeking admission and/or financial assistance to: (i) Master’s programs and direct Doctoral programs in Engineering/Technology/Architecture and (ii) Doctoral programs in relevant branches of Arts and Science, in the institutions supported by the MoE and other Government agencies. Even in some colleges and institutions, which admit students without MoE scholarship/assistantship, the GATE qualification is mandatory. Further, many Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) have been using the GATE score in their recruitment process.

Candidates should note that the GATE is not an admission ensuring examination. Qualifying in GATE examination does NOT guarantee admission / scholarship. Admission to any institute is fully dependent on the admitting institute’s criteria for educational qualification. Similarly, GATE qualification does not assure a Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) job, as it depends on the recruitment procedure of the concerned PSU. GATE committee is NOT liable for any legal obligations related to admission / job.

Scorecard for the successful candidates will be available for download from Application Portal from Monday, 21st March 2022 onward. GATE 2022 score will be valid for three years from the date of announcement of results.

The GATE score would reflect the relative performance level of the candidate in a particular subject, which is quantified based on several years of examination data.

The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) score also is used by Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs)/ govt. organization for their recruitment.


How to Check the GATE 2022 result?


Step 1: Visit the official website of GATE 2022 – gate.iitkgp.ac.in.

Step 2: Click on the “GATE 2022” login, you will redirected to the login page.

Step 3: On this page enter your enrollment id and password.

Step 4: The result of GATE 2022 will be displayed on the screen.

Step 5: Download and take a printout of GATE result 2022 for future reference.
