Following the company’s split from FIFA, going forward, EA Sports will launch a new series of football games.

While it is a new series, called EA Sports FC, will essentially continue on the long established FIFA series.

However, EA Sports will now have more creative control, and has already shown it’s willing to make changes.

For the first time, the Ultimate Edition cover features 31 players from football’s past and present.

While people are enjoying EA Sports FC’s sporting guess who, not all the changes are popular with fans.

As part of the reveal trailer we saw Brazilian winger, Vinícius Jr can be seen doing a controversial goal celebration.

Originally removed in FIFA 21, players were using the ‘Shhh’ celebration in order to taunt their opponents following a goal.

Most celebrations, like the ever popular griddy, celebrate the goal scoring and cheer on your team.

On the other hand, the Shhh action is meant to taunt and discourage the other team, which goes against the nature of good sportsmanship.

Just because the Shhh emote was shown in the trailer doesn’t mean that it will be included in the final game.

However, players are having a negative reaction to the idea of the emote returning.

Online games are known for their toxicity, as the nature is to bring out players’ competitive streaks.

Players don’t want these toxic players to have more tools to taunt other players, and wish to promote good attitudes towards competition.

Many are hoping that this goal celebration won’t appear in the final game, but there are no guarantees.
