galaxy: Samsung Galaxy S21FE may launch in January next year – Times of India

Samsung Galaxy S21FE has been in the news several times for all the leaks and rumours about design, features, specifications and most importantly launch details. A while ago, reports suggested that the smartphone has been cancelled by Samsung. But, the smartphone has surfaced once again with an expected launch timeline.
SamMobile has reported that Samsung might launch the Galaxy S21FE in January 2022. The report suggests that the smartphone will be launched silently by the company and there will be no major event for it.
Apparently, Samsung usually announces its next generation of Galaxy S-series phones in January every year. This year, it is likely to be delayed by at least a couple of months, according to SamMobile’s report.
The availability of Galaxy S20FE is also in question, it is expected that the phone will first arrive in select regions at launch and will be rolled out to other regions eventually.
While we are still skeptical about the authenticity of the report about the alleged Galaxy S22 getting delayed and S21FE launching in January next year, it is advisable to take it with a pinch of salt. But, if that’s true, the global chip shortage is to blame.
For those unaware, the Galaxy S21FE will be the successor of Galaxy S20FE, both of which are apparently the toned-down versions of their more premium counterparts. As expected, the Galaxy S21 FE is expected to retain a similar design language as the Galaxy S21 and also come with a similar set of features like Exynos 2100SoC, 8GB RAM, 128GB storage and triple rear camera setup.
