Gabby Logan’s husband on cancer op as he issues warning
Gabby Logan, 49, and her husband Kenny, 50, spoke out about his cancer battle on BBC Breakfast yesterday as part of National Prostate Cancer Awareness Month. The couple made his diagnosis public in a bid to encourage other men to get tested as symptoms are not always recognised.
In the latest special episode, Kenny said he was glad to be home post-operation as he begins his recovery period.
“It’s odd, I went into hospital feeling fine and I’ve come out feeling horrific,” he laughed.
Gabby went on to add that Kenny’s torso was “really bruised” as he joked his six-pack had disappeared.
“I’ve got balls the size of tennis balls,” he continued, joking it was a “positive” thing.

He said: “As I was going through this in my head, and I thought ‘what about me’, ‘what is happening to me’, and Gabby said that I should go and get checked.”
On BBC Breakfast, the presenter was also asked how she managed to stay calm throughout the recording of the podcast with her husband.
She said: “Because it’s my job, I suppose I went into ‘work mode’ a bit, and kind of sat there, and we were in my office and because I record my podcast there, it’s the same seat that I do all of my interviews.
“So sort of turned myself into interviewer and tried to talk to Kenny in a way that we could illicit information.
