‘Furious’ Marshall erupts as Tigers call for crisis meeting
The Wests Tigers are set to hold a crisis meeting in a bid to mend a reported feud between Benji Marshall and the club’s head of recruitment, Scott Fulton.
Tigers CEO Justin Pascoe has been asked to help the pair see eye to eye after Marshall was angered by comments made by Fulton’s godfather, Peter Peters, on radio.
Peters made the claim that “a current high-profile Tigers official” had a share in the management company trying to sign Aidan Sezer to the club.

Marshall is keen on bringing Sezer to the club, with Fulton in favour of signing Penrith’s Jack Cogger instead, and did not take kindly to Peters’ comments.
“Unfortunately this keeps getting worse and worse for the poor old Wests Tigers,” Sydney Morning Herald reporter Michael Chammas said on Nine’s NRL coverage.
“They’re planning a meeting over the next 48 hours to try and sort things out between Marshall and Fulton.
“Marshall is furious with allegations that he believes were aimed at him by Fulton’s godfather Peter Peters on radio this morning.”

Chammas also reported that the Tigers had held “secret meetings” with a number of player agents who had become concerned “with the development of young players” under Marshall and current head coach Tim Sheens.
“They want assurances that there will be changes to the coaching staff next year, bringing in someone like Justin Holbrook or John Morris,” he said.
Marshall is scheduled to take over the coaching reins from Sheens from next season.
