While many voice actors have returned from Breath of the Wild, there are quite a few new voice actors too, including one huge name.

Here’s the full list of voice actors for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Tears of the Kingdom – Link voice actor

Like all previous games, protagonist Link is largely silent throughout Tears of the Kingdom, with no dialogue at all.

However, he does make grunts, screams, and other sounds, and somebody has to make those sounds for you to hear them in-game.

Link is voiced by Kengo Takanashi, a Japanese voice actor who also played the role of Link in Breath of the Wild.

He’s also voiced a number of other characters in various video games, like Final Fantasy 14 and Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty.

Tears of the Kingdom – Zelda voice actor

Zelda’s voice performance received a mixed reaction in Breath of the Wild, but many were huge fans of the actor behind the role.

Like in Breath of the Wild, Zelda is voiced by Canadian voice actress Patricia Summersett, who has also appeared in many other video games.

Her other credits include Assassin’s Creed Syndicate and the recent PS5 game Horizon Forbidden West, among many others.

Initial reaction to Summersett as Zelda in Tears of the Kingdom seems to be very positive, suggesting the voice direction is a lot better than in the prior game.

Tears of the Kingdom – Ganondorf voice actor

Ganondorf is voiced by Matthew Mercer in Tears of the Kingdom, perhaps one of the biggest voice actors in the world.

Mercer has been in dozens of games, animated TV series, and movies, and is well-known for his online Dungeons and Dragons show, Critical Role.

Notable roles for Mercer in other games include Cole Cassidy in Overwatch 2, Yusuke in Persona 5, and the human male player voice in Destiny 2.

He also voices a number of characters in League of Legends, and voiced Leon Kennedy in Resident Evil 6.

Tears of the Kingdom – Tarin voice actor

While most voice actors in Tears of the Kingdom have had previous roles in video games, one stands out as a first video game role.

Tarin is voiced by Rob Riddell, a very experienced TV actor who has appeared in a number of small parts across multiple decades.

His most notable role prior to Tears of the Kingdom was in the 1984 TV series The Dukes of Hazzard.

Riddell has also appeared in a number of advertisements for different products, and appeared on podcasts in recent years.

Tears of the Kingdom – Sidon voice actor

Sidon was one of the most beloved characters in Breath of the Wild, as the supportive fish-like Zora who was always by Link’s side.

Prince Sidon plays an even bigger role in Tears of the Kingdom, and has many more voice lines for players to enjoy.

In Tears of the Kingdom, like in Breath of the Wild, Sidon is voiced by Jamie Mortellaro, who otherwise works as a voice director.

Mortellaro directed the vocal performance in both Zelda games, as well as God of War Ragnarok and Octopath Traveler 2.
