Fulham have made an £11million offer to sign Manchester United midfielder Andreas Pereira.

The 26-year-old has not played for United since joining June 2020, having had spells out on loan at Lazio and more recently Flamengo.

Pereira remains on loan with the Brazilian side who had explored the option of making the arrangement a permanent one.

But according to The Mail, Fulham are offering him a return to the Premier League ahead of the 2022-23 season.

The newly-promoted side have made an offer worth £8.6million up front, rising to £11m with add-ons, according to the report.

Reports in Brazil have claimed Pereira could still have a future at Old Trafford with Erik ten Hag set to hold talks with the player over his role at the club going forward.

But United are ready to listen to offers with any funds generated through player sales set to help ten Hag in his bid to reshape the squad.

Reports suggest United have a summer budget of between £100m and £120m which can be topped up through player sales.

The club’s pursuit of Frenkie de Jong is set to take a sizeable chunk out of that if they can get the deal over the line.

United are now thought to be close to agreeing a £69m fee with Barcelona with hope the deal can be wrapped up as early as next week.
