Fujifilm X-T5 mirrorless camera: Specifications, features, and more
The X-T5 features the back-illuminated 40.2MP sensor “X-Trans CMOS 5 HR,” and paired with an improved image processing algorithm, the camera delivers advanced image resolution without compromising the S/N ratio. The X-Trans CMOS 5 HR sensor of X-T5 features an improved pixel structure, allowing it to absorb more light efficiently. Fujifilm X-T5 offers the extended ISO level of ISO125 as a standard option. The exposure time is now controlled in high precision with a shutter speed as fast as 1/180000 sec.
This camera incorporates the Pixel Shift Multi-Shot function, quadrupling the image resolution and producing accurate color reproduction, making it ideal for commercial photography. The camera has dedicated software, the “Pixel Shift Combiner” which processes the captured frames to generate an image comprising about 160 million pixels. The X-T5 offers 19 Film Simulation modes, including “Nostalgic Negative.”
The X-T5 comes with the Smooth Skin Effect, which automatically smooths the skin tone, reducing the postprocessing workload often required in portrait shoots. The Auto White Balance feature of the camera is based on the deep learning algorithm.
The X-T5 features the 5-axis in-body image stabilization of up to 7.0 stops. Users can shoot hand-held even in low light conditions, such as nightscape photography. The IBIS mechanism is also used to shift the camera’s image sensor in high precision to facilitate the Pixel Shift Multi-Shot function. The X-T5 comes with 5-axis in-body image stabilization with subject detection AF.
The X-T5 has three dials on the top to control ISO, shutter speed, and exposure compensation. The three-way tilting LCD offers 1.85 million-dot pixels.
The camera supports recording of up to 6.2K at 30 fps in 10-bit colour mode. Further, the camera has 4K HQ mode, using the 6.2K over-sampled footage.
