Usman Khawaja was repeatedly targeted in the Long Room by MCC members on the final day of the second Ashes Test at Lord’s, new footage has revealed.
Khawaja was held back by security after the incident in the Long Room pavilion, which led to three members being suspended.
The incident came after the controversial moment involving Jonny Bairstow when he was stumped by Alex Carey after wandering out of his crease.

The newest footage, released by The Sydney Morning Herald and The Age, shows Khawaja stop before pointing out a member to MCC stewards and Frank Dimas, the Australian team’s security manager.
The footage is taken after coverage widely circulated on Sunday’s broadcast in which players were repeatedly booed as they climbed the stairs to the dining room.
According to sources cited in The Age report, the ongoing investigation has not found any racial abuse.

Exactly what was said to Khawaja hasn’t been revealed, although descriptions are abhorrent.
Fans could be heard chanting “cheat, cheat, cheat” at Lord’s after the pivotal moment.
The incident comes just days after a report was released citing discrimination and entitlement in England cricket.
“Some of the stuff that was coming out of the members’ mouths was really disappointing, and I wasn’t just going to stand by and cop it,” Khawaja said after the Test.
“So I just talked to a few of them, a few of them (were]) throwing out some pretty big allegations and I just called them up on it, and they kept going.
“And if they kept going I was like, ‘well, it’s your membership here’, so I was just pointing them out.
“But it’s pretty disrespectful, to be honest. I just expect a lot better from the members.”
