Free Fire Max Android Pre-Registrations Announced

Garena has announced that pre-registrations for its upcoming Free Fire Max, which is an enhanced version of the battle royale, will begin towards the end of August. The game will offer “enhanced graphics and features, and an in-app customisable map feature.” Garena has also confirmed that the game will also let players log in with their existing accounts, with progression carrying over seamlessly.

Both games will support cross-play with each other, with Garena’s in-house “Firelink” technology handling the cloud saves and cross-play features. This allows players to use the following features:

• Use their same existing Free Fire account to login to Free Fire Max.
• Sync all accounts data – including account progress and game items – across both applications.
• Play all game modes with all Free Fire players, regardless of the application that they use.

Free Fire MAX Pre-Registration Date Revealed

Garena has also announced that pre-registration for Free Fire Max will begin on this Sunday, August 29. Players will be able to pre-register for the game on the Google Play Store which will offer exclusive bundles and collections.

Meanwhile, Garena is celebrating Free Fire’s fourth anniversary with its ‘Free Fire 4nniversary’ event. The new celebrations, taking place on August 28, include the following:

• The Clash Squad Cup game mode – The mode will see 4 competing against other teams, live from August 28 to 29. Each team’s tier will be determined based on the players’ Clash Squad rank. Teams will play 3 matches, with rewards given based on the number of wins across the matches. Tickets used for The Arena will increase the quality of rewards received – so feel free to use them for the new mode
• Players who participate in any game will receive Magic Cube fragments on 28 Aug, for all modes except the new mode, Clash Squad Cup.
• Players who log in on August 28 will get Like Mike’s character Thiva for free.

Free Fire is available to download for free on the Google Play store for Android and the Apple app store. The Free Fire 4anniversary event will run from August 28 to September 5.
