Fortnite Adds New Island Based on M. Night Shyamalan’s Old

Fortnite has added a new island in Creative mode, which is inspired by M. Night Shyamalan’s new movie, Old. Players will need to find a way to escape the new island to survive.

Although the map’s exact mechanics aren’t revealed, players will need to gather resources, craft tools, and beat the clock to survive on the new island. The map can be played solo or by up to six players. Here’s how you can access the new map in Fortnite Creative:

  • Open Fortnite and select Creative
  • Then, select Island Code and enter – 0761-4089-5654

Alternatively, you can go to any featured island in the Welcome Hub and enter the code (0761-4089-5654). After a short load time, the map will show up in Fortnite.

Fortnite is currently running an in-game countdown for an upcoming event. As reported by Eurogamer, the game is expected to host an Ariana Grande concert on August 7 at 3:35 AM IST. Epic Games hasn’t made any official announcement about the event yet, so this information should be taken with a grain of salt.

M. Night Shyamalan’s Old has debuted globally last weekend and it is set to release in Indian theaters on August 13. The movie follows a family on secluded beach that accelerates their aging, which reduces their lives to a single day. Old earned $16.5 million at the US box office and $6.5 million internationally. Old has also become a viral sensation after several viewers started posting memes based on the movie.
