Forget Prime Day! Amazon can’t match these incredible Apple deals

Amazon’s annual Prime Day sale is in full swing and has a wealth of top deals to help with that money burning a hole in your pocket. If you’re looking for the best Prime Day deals, we’ve got a comprehensive guide of the ultimate offers.

However, the two-day Prime Day sale can be very off-putting for those who don’t usually shop on Amazon or hold a valid Prime membership. Yes, you’ll need to be a signed-up Prime member (there is a free trial available to newcomers) to take advantage of any of the discounts and deals in the Amazon sale.

There is an alternative though …especially when it comes to astonishing Apple deals. Yes, rival AO.com is holding its own sale and some of the prices on Apple-branded gadgets leave Amazon in the dust.

The only catch is that – like Amazon Prime Day – you have to pay for an annual AO Membership that costs around half of an annual Amazon Prime membership at £40, but some of the deals are that good, it will easily pay for itself. Dubbed the AO Five Star Membership, the scheme unlocks next-day delivery, 100-day returns, and allows exclusive deals on products you might not be able to get anywhere else.

In our AirPods Pro review, we tested both the AirPods Pro with MagSafe and the new AirPods Pro (2nd Generation) in busy areas, like the gym, packed coffee shops, and bustling tube carriages, and there’s no question that the new ANC is way better than before.

When it comes to sound quality of the AirPods Pro 2, Apple introduced a low-distortion audio driver and custom amplifier inside each earbud but the real secret sauce of the AirPods Pro is the software that’s constantly altering and tweaking the sound. The results of this new technology are seriously impressive with playlists sounding rich, detailed and packed full of bass. Pump up the volume and things don’t get distorted with music always sounding crystal clear.

Another cracking deal from AO is the Apple 10.2-inch iPad for just £239 compared to the non-member price of £278.

We praised this tablet in our iPad (2021) review, highlighting the amazing screen and battery life with it getting around 10 hours on single charge. The display is very bright, colourful and packed with pixels. If you’re only planning to do some web browsing and Netflix bingeing, this screen is more than good enough.
