The Foo Fighters will be performing on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury 2023 after weeks of heavy rumours, it’s been claimed.

As the globally-revered music festival kicks off at Worthy Farm in Somerset, speculation continues to mount around the artists on the line-up, from the guests Sir Elton John will feature in his headline set to surprise acts still being kept a secret.

Weeks ago, clues pointed towards rock band the Foo Fighters blasting their way onto the stage, after they shared a cryptic clue online that fans sussed as supposed confirmation.

Now, it’s been reported that their upcoming performance on The Pyramid stage on Friday night has been set in stone.

According to The Daily Mail, the Best of You musicians will be performing at 6.10pm, the slot that was held for an act under the alias The Churnups.

Earlier this month, the group shared a message with fans, in which they wrote: ‘It feels good to see you, churning up these emotions together’ – leading many to deduce that they must be linked to the alias.

In addition to the Foo Fighters reportedly performing on the iconic stage, it’s been said that artist David Hockney has created the graphics for their show.

‘The fact that David has got involved shows just how special this gig will be. It is amazing,’ a source told the publication.

If the Foo Fighters do perform at Glastonbury 2023, their set will come over a year after the death of the band’s drummer Taylor Hawkins, who died in March last year aged 50.

In May this year, the group announced that acclaimed musician Josh Freese had taken over the drums, having played for other bands in the past including Guns N’ Roses, Nine Inch Nails and Weezer.
