First look at new I’m A Celeb castle shows toughest camp yet with creepy dungeon

ITV’s I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! is returning to our screens very soon and pictures have been released of the new campsite.

The upcoming series is returning to Wales for the second year running and is set to feature more trials and celebrities than ever before.

According to pre-release material, reports the Mirror, the first trial will see celebs being divided in two to compete for the luxury of the main camp, while the losers will have to make do with a grimier alternative – codenamed The Clink.

The Clink will be reminiscent of the hardships faced by stars on the original Australian I’m a Celeb setting and five celebrities will be forced to endure the dreaded site.

The new series is staring this month and fans can’t wait

Stars confined to the Clink will have to sleep on the cold, hard ground and shower in a primitive facility completely in the dark.

The outdoor area is comprised of a tiny, claustrophobic courtyard.

“They’re going to be on top of each other,” Executive Producer Olly Nash told the Mirror.

The area won’t even be heated and the privy is expected to be smaller and even grottier.

The much more stylised campsite will feature a cute red telephone booth, decorative vines and a massive bell hanging overhead.

The beds, meanwhile are scattered around the campsite in a room which also has no heating. The windows are nicely smashed, too. How lovely.

The new series is set to have more trials than any other series and more celebrities taking part in them than ever before

A classic campfire will sit in the centre of the room for celebs to sit around, and will also serve as the means of cooking meals for the camp.

Rather than being dropped from the treetops, a dumbwaiter will serve the stars with their evening meals.

Kiosk Cledwyn will be returning as the moody shopkeeper of Ye Olde Shoppe and will tempt the celebs with an array of tasty snacks.

The Castle Camp looks as grimy and spooky as you’d expect

The very first trial, Turrets of Terror, will feature two specially made castle turrets placed on the grounds of the castle.

Creative Director Tom Gould revealed: “The results will lead to half of them winning a place in the main camp and the other half of losing celebrities will have to endure a stay in The Clink.
