A caption on the video reads: ‘Blocking the roads can cost lives.

‘The red car’s a jerk and any lives lost should be on the owner.’

The video is shot with a smartphone by somebody standing on the street.

A single red Vauxhall is parked to the right, while a row of cars is on the other side, parked half on the pavement.

A fire engine with its blue lights flashing is trying to edge its way between the Vauxhall and the other cars.

Multiple firemen are out of the cab giving the driver directions as the fire engine edges past extremely slowly.

But people commenting on the video weren’t all in agreement that the red Vauxhall was to blame.

One said: “I wouldn’t blame it on the red car I would blame it on the other cars parked over a pathway.”

Another said: “Plot twist , the red car was there first and the other illegally parked cars on the curb came after.”

A third said: “Technically the ones parking on the path are parked illegally, red car is parked how the Highway Code states.”

While another person commented: “I wouldn’t blame it on anyone but the council and building companies making houses with insufficient parking and roads to small to park cars on.”

But couldn't agree on whether it was the red Vauxhall's fault
