One of the TV highlights of the past few months has been And Just Like That, the Sex And the City sequel which has reunited us with Sarah Jessica Parker’s Carrie Bradshaw, Cynthia Nixon as Miranda Hobbes and Kristin Davis as Charlotte York-Goldenblatt.

Despite Kim Cattrall not returning as the sex-loving Samantha Jones, the series has given us plenty to love, from new characters through to that heartbreaking twist – and of course plenty of awesome clothes and cocktails.

All good things must come to an end, though, with the final episode set to air on Sky Comedy today (February 3).

With the series having been a hit with Sex and the City fans, as well as capturing a whole new audience, could we be seeing Carrie, Miranda, and Charlotte returning for more?

Will there be a second season of And Just Like That?

At the time of writing, there has been no confirmation as to whether a second series will be going ahead.

Showrunner Michael Patrick King has said that he would be interested in continuing the series, telling Emmy Magazine in December that he felt that the series does not offer a definitive ending for the characters.

‘I don’t know. As we were working, it always felt like the beginning. It didn’t feel like a beginning, middle and an end’ he said.

‘So I think it’s possible to keep going — if we have enough good stories.’

The sentiment was also echoed by HBO Max’s chief content officer Casey Bloys, who has said that a second series could happen – but admitted it would largely depend on the availability of its main cast members.

‘To tell you the truth, it would be a conversation, because I have no idea,’ Bloys told Vulture in December.

‘They kind of came together to do this. They were all really busy and doing other things. So it is certainly a conversation we’ll have. But we haven’t decided anything or done anything. I’m going to leave it up to these guys to figure out what they want to do, but I’m very happy with what they’ve done.’

We’ll just have to wait and see whether Parker and co will be back for more.

And Just Like That… finale airs on Sky Comedy today at 9pm.
