Recently, Final Fantasy XIV has received Patch 6.05, which adjusted the existing jobs in the game a little bit, but it seems like you should expect even more buffs for some of the jobs in the near future when Patch 6.08 arrives.
FFXIV Patch 6.08 Focuses on Jobs
In a recent interview with Radio Mog Station, Yoshi-P revealed that a bunch of DPS jobs will receive buffs in Patch 6.08, which includes Paladin, Monk, Black Mage, Dancer, and Samurai.
Yoshi-P mentioned that they are looking into buffing the weaker jobs rather than nerfing the powerful ones to reach a balanced state.
Moreover, Yoshi-P revealed that the development will share more details about when you can expect the FFXIV sale to be resumed after addressing the server issues.
Unfortunately, there is no exact release date for Patch 6.08 at the moment, and we don’t know what else we could expect for this update aside from the job tunings.
Teasing a little bit of details from Patch 6.1, Yoshi-P confirmed that it would feature a New Game Plus for Endwalker to go all the way back to 6.00.
Final Fantasy XIV is now available on PS4, PS5, and PC. The game received the Endwalker expansion back in December 2021, which resulted in a huge amount of players revisiting the game’s world for new content, locations, and quests.
