FAU-G Independence Day Update Adds 1v9 Deathmatch Mode and New Operator

Ncore Games’ FAU-G celebrated Independence Day with a new update that brought some new additions to the made-in-India action game. The new update adds the following new features to the game:

  • New fast paced 1v9 mode
  • New Operator – Dhillon
  • Community feedback & bug fixes
  • New slots open

The new 1v9 deathmatch mode is an extension of the team deathmatch mode that was introduced to the game a couple of months ago. The new mode, as the name suggests, pits players against each other in a fast-paced deathmatch mode with room for only one winner. The update also adds new operator Dhillon into the battlefield. Meanwhile, the game’s original soundtrack with six tracks has also been released to the public on the developer’s YouTube channel.

Earlier, Ncore Games commented on the possibility of adding operators with unique skills, not unlike Rainbow Six Siege, to the game’s deathmatch mode.

“That depends if we want to make FAU-G operators or weapons (guns) as the central element to player growth in the game,” said Ganesh Hande, Ncore Games Co-Founder and COO. “We are exploring the design possibilities of having unique operator skills/ perks. We want the meta to gel well with the core loop. We will be sharing more info on this soon. But the possibility is definitely open.”

The developer has expressed interest in marrying the game’s single-player and deathmatch modes with a unifying story, and while the new 1v9 mode may add more to the core gameplay section, it wouldn’t be surprising to see future updates flesh out the universe’s lore.
