Melania Trump, the wife of former-president Donald, was trending on Twitter as he was found liable for having sexually abused a woman today.
Fans wondered how the former model, who has been married to Trump since 2005, was coping in the wake of the court’s findings, especially after publicly supporting her husband this morning.
The former US President has been ordered to pay $5 million in damages after a jury found he had sexually abused journalist E Jean Carroll in a department store in 1996.
He was also found to have defamed her when he called her allegations a “con job” in October 2022.
Melania Trump is thought to be at Mar-a-Lago in Florida currently, with the couple’s son.

After the jury reached their conclusion internet users started asking questions about Melania, originally from Slovenia.
One Twitter user asked: “I wonder how Melania is feeling about the outcome of the case? Will she stay married to him?”
@Sam85603 remarked: “Melania is now married to a sexual offender and abuser.
@JamesHodgins14, however, beseech Twitter users not to discuss the former First Lady. He said: “Don’t bring Melania into this.”
@Ethantaj_49ers simply asked: “Can you imagine how Melania Trump is?”
It comes after Melania publicly threw her weight behind her husband’s bid to be re-elected as president just this morning.
Melania made her first public appearance in months, speaking about Trump’s re-election campaign for the first time with Fox News today.
His wife and mother-of-one said: “He has my support, and we look forward to restoring hope for the future and leading America with love and strength.”
She went on: “My husband achieved tremendous success in his first administration, and he can lead us toward greatness and prosperity once again.”
E Jean Carroll accused Donald Trump of sexually assaulting her in 1996, during which time the businessman was married to the actress Marla Maples.
