Fans convinced Everton will be relegate as final Prem fixtures are revealed

FOOTBALL fans are convinced Everton will be relegated after seeing their final fixtures of the season.

The Toffees lost a crucial six-pointer at Burnley on Wednesday and are now just one point above Sean Dyche’s side, who occupy the last relegation spot.

Everton have not won away from home in the league since August and have just two wins in nine Prem games since Frank Lampard took over.

But the worst could be yet to come with Manchester United, Leicester, Liverpool and Chelsea their next four opponents.

Of their last nine games Watford are the only team they will face who are lower than Everton in the table.

That game sees Everton on the road again however which is perhaps why many fans cannot envisage many more points for Lampard’s side.

The former Chelsea boss will be hoping the recent positive home form continues with games at Brentford and Crystal Palace a chance to pick up wins in May.

Their final day fixture is at Arsenal while Burnley take on Newcastle, who will likely be safe by that point.

Burnley have Norwich up next and have Watford, Southampton and Aston Villa twice to come.

That is perhaps why many fans are pessimistic about Everton’s chances of avoiding the drop.

One supporter wrote on Twitter: “Goodbye Everton you ain’t winning anything here.”

Another added: “They may be on the verge of utterly crumbling. Most of their players have no clue about being in a relegation battle.”

A third said: “I genuinely don’t see how they get more than three points here.”
