Exclusive: Govinda credits his female co-stars for his hits: Unka good luck juda hua tha

Govinda has worked with countless actresses in his career giving best and best of his hits. Recently, ahead of the 68th Hyundai Filmfare Awards 2023 with Maharashtra Tourism, the actor was asked about his female co-stars including Karisma Kapoor, Raveena Tandon, Rani Mukerji and Katrina Kaif.

Govinda gave all the credits for his blockbusters to his films’ songs and his heroines. He said in hindi, “With all due respect to my producers and directors, meri jo filme hua karti thi, woh bahut badi filme nahi thi.. uss samay ke liye woh producers the ya makers mein the..woh ‘the makers’ mein nahi the woh…bahut rare aisa hua ke maine badi film ki ho toh hum sab lucky hua karte the aur jo filmo mein takat hua karti thi woh filmo ke gaane aur actresses.”

Considering himself very lucky with his co-stars, Govinda said, “I have been very lucky to have all my co-stars khaas tor pe heroine woh sab itni aisi lucky rahin hain ki jitni bhi filmein hit hui hai woh filmo ke gaane aur meri heroines meri actresses unhi ke wajah se Hui hai aur woh sudh Hindi mein kaha jaata hai, ‘bhagyam falat savitri che vidyalaya cha bahubal’ toh jis waqt woh lady factor hota hai unka good luck jooda hua hota hai toh hi film line mein aadmi work karta hai.”

On conclusion, Govinda said, “Main bahut lucky hoon iss mamle mein…chahe Karisma ho ek darjan hit hui hai, Raveena ho ek, adha darjan toh hui hai. Jo bhi heroine hai sabhi heroineon ke saath adha half darjan film hit hui hai toh mein bahut lucky hoon iss mamle mein.”

Meanwhile, Govinda will be performing at the 68th Hyundai Filmfare Awards 2023 with Maharashtra Tourism on Thursday.
