Evian launches first-ever sparkling water with ‘the perfect level of sparkles’

Evian water has embarked on a journey to hydrate its customers in a brand new way: “First bottled in 1826, and now finally sparkled in 2022.”

Evian’s sparkling water will hit shelves across multiple supermarkets in the new year.

But its journey has been a complex one; crafted by a 15-year natural filtration journey through the glacial rocks in the heart of the French Alps.

Fans of the hydration brand can find bottles of this new sparkling water in Tesco stores throughout the UK, sold in petite 33cl aluminium cans.

They will also become available in one litre 100 percent recycled PET bottles, excluding cap and label.

The innovation aims to revitalise and delight through a unique and refreshing sparkling sensation.

Dazzling and effervescent, this new pocket-sized product is likely to be a big hit for those who want a burst of energy.

VP of Marketing at Evian, Shweta Harit stated: “evian Sparkling represents new possibilities for the brand, as we reimagine our uniquely sourced water into an exciting new product.

“Evian Sparkling stands out for its true purity and freshness – elevating your experiences and keeping you hydrated.”

Shweta continued: “This new product contains the perfect level of sparkles with its fine bubbles creating a subtle taste and gentle intensity.”

As a brand that is passionate about sustainability and being environmentally friendly, the packaging of this new product was very important at evian.

Shweta said: “Available for the first time in recyclable aluminium cans, this latest innovation demonstrates our longstanding pioneering spirit that runs through everything we do at evian.”

Evian has always been committed to preserving nature, continually investing in bringing innovation for the generations to come and envisioning a brighter future.

It does this by focussing on three pillars of sustainability: Source protection, Climate impact and packaging and recycling.

The evian website stated: “Packaging allows us to bring our water to you, our consumer, preserving the natural spring water’s quality–but we believe it shouldn’t come at the expense of the environment. After all, our water couldn’t exist without a healthy environment.”

According to Living Wood: “Aluminium can be recycled forever: It can be melted down and reformed without losing any quality, and the process can be repeated over and over again.”

Referred to as “the green metal”, recycling aluminium saves 95 percent of the energy required to produce it from raw materials.

The release of evian Sparkling follows the launch of its ‘Drink True’ global campaign.

Evian explained that the campaign celebrates “authenticity, transparency and honesty”, goals that are reflected in their uniquely sourced natural spring water.

But evian Sparkling is not the company’s first sparkly endeavour.

evian+ is a sparkling drink made with evian’s natural spring water and enhanced with magnesium and zinc.

It comes in four mouth-watering flavours: Grapefruit & Basil, Lime & Ginger, Raspberry & Ginseng, and Cucumber & Mint, and contributes to normal cognitive function.
