Who is Alesha Dixon’s partner Azuka Ononye?
Azuka Ononye, 41, is a British professional dancer and model.
Azuka is said to have worked as a backup dancer for the likes of Tinie Tempah and for Alexandra Burke on The X Factor.
The couple met in 2012, with Alesha revealing on The Jonathan Ross Show: ‘I was kind of playing hard to get for about a year.
‘And then I had the foot operation and I couldn’t walk and he was literally sleeping on the floor looking after me every day.
‘I was just looking at him thinking, “That is for better or for worse isn’t it.” I looked a state, he was sleeping on the floor because I was on the couch, I couldn’t even get up the stairs. If he can carry me to the toilet then he’s a keeper.’
It’s believed he and Alesha married in secret in 2017, and many outlets refer to Azuka as her husband.
While a wedding has never been properly confirmed, Alesha did call him her ‘lovely husband AZ’ during an appearance on Michael McIntyre’s Big Show Christmas Special in December 2017.
However, the star was not at the time wearing a wedding ring.

Eight-year-old Azura Sienna Ononye was born in October 2013 – with Alesha revealing the happy news on her 35th birthday on October 7.
She wrote on social media; ‘Thank you for all of your lovely birthday messages! I’ve had the best present in the world… My baby girl Azura Sienna was born last week!!! I’m elated and over the moon 🙂 x.’
When many of her followers commented on the sudden arrival, she replied: ‘It seems quick because I was hiding it for so long!!! I was in my six month of pregnancy at the Britain’s Got Talent final! 🙂 xxx.’
Meanwhile, two-year-old Anaya Safiya Ononye’s arrival was announced during the live semi-finals of BGT 2019.
Alesha was pregnant with her youngest during filming for BBC’s The Greatest Dancer, which she later confessed took a toll on her mental health.
She told The Sun: ‘I was filming The Greatest Dancer in high heels right up until I was eight months pregnant.
‘I was working hard and looking after another child at the same time. It was overwhelming and I would have moments when I felt really down and was really struggling but didn’t really know why.’
