Enrique Gil has brought relief to LizQuen fans after the actor dismissed rumors that he and Liza Soberano have already broken up, noting that they have been supportive of each other despite their busy schedules.

The actor addressed the split rumors after he was asked about his and Soberano’s relationship status by ABS-CBN entertainment reporter Gretchen Fullido, as seen in an episode of “TV Patrol” on Thursday, July 13.

“We’re good, we’re good,” he responded.

“You know, I’m busy with all my projects. She’s busy with all her projects naman,” he told Fullido. “She is focusing more on international work, which is super, super good for her.”

Gil then assured that all is well between him and the actress, and that they are both cheering for each other’s successes.

“You know, kahit super busy kami, we still support each other no matter what,” he stated. “I’m super happy for her. Super happy for me, too.”

Gil is currently busy with the promotion of his comeback film “I Am Not Big Bird.” Soberano, for her part, was earlier in Singapore for a luxury-brand event.

Gil and Soberano, who have been in a relationship since 2014, were speculated to have broken up after Ogie Diaz, the actress’ former talent manager, cited sources who had supposedly confirmed the pair’s split.

However, a day after Diaz said this, the couple was spotted spending time together with the actress’ former road manager.  /ra
