Emily Atack has spoken out further on receiving ‘hundreds’ of explicit messages every day, explaining that people ‘don’t realise what it can trigger’.

The 32-year-old actress admitted she has been left questioning who she is after being ‘driven crazy’ by the constant stream of unwanted graphic pictures and posts she is sent online.

Speaking on the Plot Twist podcast, she said: ‘Before breakfast, I’ve seen about 10 penises I have not asked to see. It’s not normal, is it?

‘People don’t realise the harm and the triggering it can spark — where else you take it in your mind.’

Revealing what goes through her mind, she shared: ‘If someone sends me a sexually explicit message, I’m like, “Why have they said that to me?” It makes you question everything you are and why you’re single – and suddenly, you drive yourself crazy.’

‘It’s not just about seeing the message and going, “Ugh, I don’t want to see your hairy ball sack, thanks.”

‘If it was just that, I would get over it really quickly as I have seen loads of horrible hairy ball sacks in my life.

The 2018 I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! contestant revealed the ‘awful’ full extent of explicit messages she receives daily, saying it’s in the ‘hundreds’.

On Saturday night, Emily also took to her Instagram stories to share an example of the types of messages she is sent, writing: ‘I deal with this every single day. Hundreds of messages. I block accounts, new ones are created.

‘It’s slowly chipping away at me and it makes me feel alone and isolated. It makes me question all that I am as a person.

‘Help me make it illegal.’

Elsewhere on the podcast, the comedian admitted she finds relationships with famous people ‘f**king hard’, but people not in the public eye struggle with the scrutiny of her relationships too.

‘Basically, I’m f**ked,’ Emily joked. ‘Dating is fun, but when things take a serious turn, I find it really tough.’

The former Inbetweeners star laid the blame for being ‘a hopeless romantic’ at the door of Disney, as she revealed all she thought about a school was ‘playing kiss-chase with the boys or Disney princes’.

However, she’s vowed that she is no longer allowing men to ‘cloud my mind’ or ‘take priority’, especially as she encounters lots of single women in their 30s.

The star was recently romantically linked to Strictly Come Dancing professional Giovanni Pernice after a raucous Brit Awards after-party, which he reportedly travelled to specially to woo her.

While Giovanni was absent from the main awards event, Emily cut a ravishing figure in a low-cut skin-tight black number by Stella McCartney embellished with sparkles.

She shared a snap of herself wearing the dress on Instagram, and explained how she’d had to ditch a previous outfit by the same designer, due to her ‘chunky bum.’
