Elton John just announced his final Denver concert. Here’s how to get tickets.
Elton John will play a surprise show at Denver’s Ball Arena as part of his Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour: The Final Tour, promoter AEG Presents announced Tuesday.
The Friday, Nov. 4, concert is one of 11 new dates announced this week for the tour — and it only gives fans a little over two weeks to get tickets. The Denver stop replaces a cancelled concert at Minute Maid Park in Houston.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 24 via ticketmaster.com. The Rocket Club pre-sale begins at noon on Thursday, Oct. 20, and runs through 10 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 23. Ticket prices were not immediately available.

John’s Nov. 4 concert will mark his 15th overall concert in Denver, stretching back to his first performance in 1971, promoters said. “The region has held memorable value to Elton since he has recorded three No. 1 albums there as well as iconic songs such as ‘Philadelphia Freedom’ and ‘Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds’ with John Lennon. The Ball Arena show will officially mark Elton’s final farewell in Denver,” according to a press statement.
John is known for recording at the now-defunct Caribou Ranch recording studio near Nederland in the 1970s, which also hosted greats such as Joe Walsh and Barnstorm, Chicago, Billy Joel, U2, Frank Zappa, Steely Dan and many more.
John’s current tour continues through 2023 with six shows in Australia and three shows in New Zealand throughout the month of January before the “epic 5-year tour formally concludes in Stockholm, Sweden on July 8, 2023,” promoters wrote.
