Elisse Joson laughs off pregnancy rumors: ‘Two years late ‘yung balita’
Elisse Joson set the record straight as she said she’s not expecting a second child anytime soon, and quipped how the pregnancy speculations came out two years late.
It can be recalled that Joson, who shares her 2-year-old daughter Felize with actor McCoy de Leon, kept her first pregnancy secret. The couple only introduced their daughter to the public in October 2021, six months after the actress gave birth.
Joson recently dismissed the second pregnancy speculations in a conversation with ABS-CBN entertainment reporter Gretchen Fullido, as seen on the latter’s Instagram page on Thursday, July 13.
Fullido spoke to Joson along with her fellow “Pira-Pirasong Paraiso” star Charlie Dizon during a media junket for the TV series.
“Uy, may revelation tayo. Preggy ka raw? Totoo ba?” Fullido asked Joson, making the actresses burst into laughter. (Hey, we have a revelation. Some say that you are pregnant. Is that true?)
“Two years late po ‘yung balita,” Joson replied as the entertainment reporter slightly focused the camera on the actress’ belly. “San kaya nanggaling ‘yon?” (That news is two years late. Where could that have come from?)
Dizon also laughed off the rumors as she reiterated how they were “delayed.”
“Two years old na po si Felize,” Dizon said. “Mahihiran pa [si Elisse] mag-isip kung saan siya kukuha ng baby.” (Felize is already two years old. Elisse would have a hard time thinking where to get a baby.)
Joson and De Leon, who have rekindled their romance months after confirming their split in January, celebrated Felize’s second birthday last April with an “Encanto”-themed party. /ra
