Election 2022 Results Highlights: BJP set to win four states, AAP sweeps Punjab
The BJP headed for a second straight win in politically crucial Uttar Pradesh and dominated the trends chart in three other states while the Aam Aadmi Party readied for a landslide win in Punjab, the two parties imprinting Elections 2022 with their triumph.

Uttar Pradesh:

Goa:
- Goa CM Pramod Sawant wins from Sanquelim constituency

Uttarakhand
- Congress leader Harish Rawat loses to BJP candidate by over 14,000 votes in Lalkuwa
- BJP is leading in 44 constituencies with 43.9 percent vote share
- Harish Rawat is trailing against BJP’s Dr Mohan Singh Bist with a margin of over 14,000 votes.
Manipur
- BJP is leading in 19 seats, and Chief Minister N Biren Singh is on the verge of winning the Heingang constituency
- BJP’s candidate Usham Deben Singh defeating Congress rival Md Fajur Rahman by a slender margin of 50 votes in the Wabgai constituency
- The Congress, which had emerged as the single-largest party, winning 28 seats in the 2017 assembly elections, is currently leading in just three seats.
