Want to sink your teeth into a Christmassy feast?

A number of places are offering one-off dishes and drinks for a limited time only, from festive-themed burgers and Christmas gingerbread milkshake, to a budget afternoon tea to have at home that could rival the Ritz.

Or, if you’re hankering for something somewhat more ‘traditional’, how about waffles with buttermilk fried turkey, pigs in blankets, roasted sprouts, pecans and gravy?

Byron Burgers’ seasonal menu sees three exciting items added to the roster. Try the Brie Merry burger, a 6oz beef patty topped with creamy brie, bacon, braised red cabbage and mulled plum chutney.

Accompany it with roasty tots – parmesan and rosemary potato tots – served with a pot of gravy for dipping, and finish with a Christmassy gingerbread shake. Byron is offering all three for £19.50. Available nationwide until December 31, byron.co.uk

■ Premium brand Tom Savano has released a collection of ready-to-drink canned cocktails – its signature range comes in at 125ml (15 per cent ABV) and the long pour at 250ml (eight per cent). Signatures include the Caribbean Island Mai Tai, Amalfi Sundowner Negroni or Havana Beachfront Mojito (£20 for a six-pack). ■ Caff chain the Breakfast Club is adding eight fab dishes to its Crimbo menu. Try the Turkey Waffle Dinner (buttermilk fried turkey, freshly baked waffle, pigs in blankets, roasted sprouts, pecans and gravy), or Bad Santa’s Boozy Balls (deep-fried pancake balls doused in warm chocolate ganache with Bailey’s cream and vanilla sugar).
