The Parramatta Eels have received a major pre-season boost with star halfback Mitchell Moses set to sign a lucrative extension with the club.
According to Sydney Morning Herald reports, the 28-year-old is set to reject a four-year, $5.2 million deal from the Wests Tigers to remain in Parramatta.

Moses began his career with the Tigers in 2014 before joining Parramatta during the 2017 season.
A number of clubs had lined up for Moses’ services, with the Canterbury Bulldogs joining the Eels and Tigers before pulling out in recent weeks.
The Tigers had reportedly been prepared to offer Moses over $1.3 million per season to return to Concord before they were knocked back.
Moses was a vital cog in the Eels side that reached the NRL grand final last year, scoring seven tries in 26 appearances.
Parramatta will open its 2023 season when it hosts the Melbourne Storm at CommBank Stadium in round one.
