EASYJET cabin crew in Portugal have rejected a new pay offer and scheduled strikes for later this month, clashing with the start of the school summer holidays.
Most schools in the UK are scheduled to break up on Friday, July 21, which is when the flight attendants are set to begin their walkouts.

Portuguese cabin crew who have rejected the latest pay offer will stage strikes between July 21 – 25.
The country is a hugely popular holiday destination for Brits, with more than two million visiting each year.
Local news reports claim that 90 per cent of the National Union of Civil Aviation Flight Personnel (SNPVAC) rejected the offer.
It is not the first time SPNVAC have staged industrial action this summer, with strikes also taking place in May and June.
As a result, easyJet cancelled several hundred flights.
More disruption is now likely, especially with the walkouts happening right at the beginning of the summer holidays.
However, Portuguese regulations mean the airline will be required to provide minimum services.
The easyJet strikes aren’t the only ones set to affect flights to Portugal this summer, with several ground handling unions also staging walkouts.
“All out strikes” have been scheduled by the ITAVA, SINDAV, STHA and SIMAMEVIP unions for July 30 – 31 and August 5 – 6.
Overtime workers are also planning action at Portuguese airports on July 19 and August 1.
A statement published by the Portugal News from the unions claims they had “no other alternative than strikes”.

“As soon as you hear of flight delays or cancellations be sure to contact the airline’s customer service team directly, they will be able to assist you with what to do next.”
