The long weekend feels like the perfect time to pop to your nearest Wickes, Homebase, or B&Q to purchase DIY essentials, home improvement items or garden supplies.
But when are all three stores open? Here are their Easter opening dates and times over the Easter weekend.
When is B&Q open over Easter weekend?
B&Q stores will be closed for business on Easter Sunday.
That includes stores in England, Wales and Northern Ireland – though they will be open in Scotland.
You’ll have to visit your nearest store from its usual opening time (often around 7am, but can depend) before it closes at 8pm on both Good Friday and Saturday.
After a day off from customers, B&Q will reopen on Easter Monday from 7am to 8pm.
It’s always a good idea to check B&Q’s store finder for your local shop’s exact Easter opening times, just to be safe.
When is Homebase open over Easter weekend?
Homebase stores across the UK open at 8am and close at 8pm on Good Friday.
They’ll also have opening hours of 8am to 8pm the day before and after (Thursday, April 14 and Saturday, April 16).
Homebase will operate its typical Sunday trading hours on Easter Sunday, rather than close for the day. These are usually 10am to 4pm.
Finally, it’ll open on Easter Monday at 8am, closing at 7pm.
Note that these opening times apply to England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

When is Wickes open over Easter weekend?
Wickes stores in England and Wales will be closed completely on Easter Sunday, but will remain open in Scotland.
Shops will then be open as usual, operating normal opening hours, on Good Friday, Saturday and Easter Monday.
