EastEnders’ Lacey Turner shares snap of her son’s first birthday
It’s already the second week of February and days are starting to get a little bit lighter. As we continue into 2022, new milestones, birthdays and beginnings are on the horizon.
And for one star, this year bears a significant meaning for her family. EastEnders actress Lacey Turner, shared cute snaps of her baby boy with fans on Instagram.
The soap star celebrated the birthday of her son – Trilby Fox Kay, who turned one-years-old on February 3. Fans of the BBC One legend were quick to flood the comments sending their well wishes, but some were eager to point out how fast time had gone by.
The Instagram post read: “Happy 1st birthday chops” followed by an orange heart emoji. The swipe-post featured the actress’ son in a ball pit at their home where they celebrated with a blue and grey themed bash.

The party was complete with a bouncy castle and some snazzy kids cars at hand to take for a spin. In honour of the one-year-old’s name, Lacey shared a framed drawing of a cartoon fox and the little one’s date of birth written above it. And of course, Trilby’s big sister got in on the action as two-year-old Dusty was pictured with a big grin enjoying the ball pit. Fans wished the star and her youngest a happy birthday but couldn’t believe how quickly his birthday had come around.
One user @rosiepupsandco wrote: “Aww happy birthday gorgeous boy. Doesn’t seem like 2 minutes he was in our outfit as a little baby.”
Even former EastEnders co-star Davood Ghadami was in disbelief that Trilbey had already reached the one-year milestone.
The star commented: “1 already??? Happy Birthday!!!” followed by a birthday cake emoji.

Lacey confirmed that she would be returning to the Square and that she could go back and forth between her home in Hertfordshire and the Borehamwood set. Speaking to OK! Magazine she said: “Yes, but I’m really lucky because although with a big storyline you can be working like any full-time job, there are a lot of times when I’m not needed so it works out perfectly.
“I also live not too far away from the studios so that always makes things easier and I can pop home between filming.
“I’m always home for bath and bedtime, too.”
With time flying past so quickly, it won’t be long till Stacey Slater is back on our screens and bringing the drama.
