EastEnders always brings plenty of excitement with it. When 7.30pm hits fans are usually waiting for the drama to unfold – and sure enough it often does.
Tonight it’s been Nancy Carter’s turn to step into the firing line, and boy have people let their feelings be known. Nancy’s had quite the time in Albert Square over the years, with one of her most notable moments being when she had a seizure after Tamwar left her.
But despite her ups and downs over the years, she’s really annoyed some people in the Twittersphere. “Nancy is boring, this sam/zack stuff has potential tbh #Eastenders,” one person wrote.

Meanwhile another decided not to hold back, saying: “I hate that nancy is the one that treats zack like s*** but he’s gonna be made out to be the bad one bcos he cheated #EastEnders.”
A third honed in on the fact that Nancy moans too much. “Can somebody give Nancy some balloons for her pity party? So over her whining. #EastEnders ”
Others actually felt sorry for her though. One commenter wrote: “It pains me to see Nancy be no wiser to the truth and how it’s going to hurt her when she finds out about the manipulation behind all this. #EastEnders ”
And despite receiving loads of hate, others even commended her emotional intellgience in taking a step back in her relationship. “As brutal as it may seem Nancy is doing the right thing. When someone you love is going through addiction theres only so much you can do. Taking a step away seems cruel but it’s actually a way to help them, gets them to start making the changes they need to #EastEnders ”
