Drivers divided over BMW owner’s ‘shameless’ parking – but who’s in the right?
A BMW driver has been blasted for their “shameless” parking after hogging two spaces in an Asda car park.
The motorist’s car was snapped parked across two bays at the supermarket in Leeds – sparking a debate online.
One fuming shopper at the Killingbeck store shared the photo on Facebook with the caption: “BMW drivers they have no shame.”
Many users were quick to slam the motorist – but others defended the parking choice.
One user commented: “Taking the absolute p*** that is bad parking.”
Another said: “Do BMW drivers just get a handbook of how not to drive and how to be a d*** when they get the handbook of the BMW?”.
But other users couldn’t see a problem with the parking.
One person said: “May have parked up while it was busy and somebody next to him was parked across the line!
“Besides it’s empty now so what’s the deal?”
A second commented: “What’s the issue? There is plenty of empty parking.
“The reason they’ve parked like that is because they don’t want people bashing their doors into a £50k+ motor.
“I’d do the same to be honest, if there are enough empty bays around me. I even use disabled bays.”
It comes after supercar drivers were slammed for having “more money than courtesy” after parking their motors in illegal spots.
People living in Melbourne, Australia, say they have been driven mad by owners of luxury models including Mercedes and Ferraris leaving their cars where they fancy.
A brand new Mercedes Benz coupe, worth a cool £150,000, was pictured shamelessly parked over a pedestrian crossing at Melbourne Zoo.
Fed-up, a passerby shared a snap of the brazenly parked motor on social media on Thursday with the caption: “This tool at Melbourne Zoo today.”
Almost 1,000 people piled on to slam the driver in the comments on Reddit.
One user said: “Call a tow truck, these c**** have to learn they can’t park where they want just because they gave a nice car.”
Meanwhile, another brazen supercar driver outraged other motorists by leaving their £230,000 white Ferrari in a clearly signed “no stopping” zone at a park in the city.
