Drivers blown away by simple hack that solves expensive motoring mistake

Misfuelling a car has the potential to ruin your engine, requiring extensive work that can run to £1,000s.

In a video uploaded by TikTok user @16rrsportautobio, it begins by showing a white Range Rover sport and has the caption: ‘Who remembers putting these in your car.’

It then shows somebody walking towards the back of the Range Rover and pointing the key at it to unlock it.

They then open the fuel flap on the car and focus on a yellow plastic contraption on the reverse of the flap.

On the contraption is a speaker which as soon as the flap is opened sounds a warning chime.

A voice from the speaker is then heard saying: “Stop! Diesel! Remember! Diesel!”

The device can be bought at places like Amazon or eBay for less than a fiver, but some people had never heard of them before.
