Drivers baffled by homemade sign on side of road – can you spot what’s odd?

DRIVERS have been left baffled by a homemade warning sign on the side of road – but can you spot what’s odd?

An official road sign can be see on the side of the A6 between the villages of Whaley Bridge, High Peak and Furness Vale – but a second mysterious post has been catching the eyes of locals.

Motorists have spotted two signs posted along the road – one states “cats eyes removed”.

Just a few metres down the road, another sign reads: “Mice very happy”, Stoke Sentinel reports.

One person who understood the joke said they thought it was amusing.

They said: “I drive by this every day at the minute. Makes me chuckle every time.”

Another said: “Passed this today and didn’t make the connection.”

One more said: “Love it! At first I assumed a human surveyed at least a hundred mice to gauge their emotions and then made a road sign but I realised that was a silly idea.”

They added: “It was obviously mice that made the sign compelled by their dramatic change of scenario and emotions.”

One person from Germany said they don’t have cat eyes so took some time to figure out what it means.

They said: “In Germany we don’t have such reflectors. So at first I was really confused and shocked, what happened to the poor cat?”

Some people thought it was quite clever and must have taken some time to put together.

One person said: “Not a small amount of effort, which I respect.”

Another added: “I wish I could spend days doing this kind of stuff.”

It comes after a fuming dad made a fake speed camera van to slow down motorists driving along a 30mph road near his family’s home.

Rob Adcock grew tired of cars racing past his house in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, so he decided to deter drivers by tricking them.
