DRIVERS have been left stunned after discovering they can get rid of car paint chips with a £1 household product.
The genius tip involves using an everyday household item that you can buy easily at any supermarket or health and beauty shop.

TikTok user @happywifehappylifehaha revealed that the cheapest nail polish can cover small chips in your car in a few seconds.
She captioned the video: “I will show you a trick that dealership workers use.”
She said: “Just use the cheapest nail polish close to the colour of your car to remove all the scratches.”
The video shows a woman using a blue nail varnish to cover up scratches on her blue car.
But car experts offered a word of warning to only try these techniques if you’re sure your car’s scratches are minor.
You’ll need to visit a service centre if the scratches or chips are more severe.
The video has gone viral on TikTok with more than 35,000 views, but people in the comments are not too convinced.
One said: “The only video that actually is a quick fix. I’m not even being sarcastic. Every other video just shows some ‘magic scratch remover.”
